SLOW WALK ROTHSCHILD completed: approximately 560 meters, walked in 8 hours, 42 minutes and 42 seconds, in celebration of the most important social upheaval in the history of Israel. More documentation will follow (photo: Eran Bendheim)
On Thursday 1 September 2011, I will be leading a very slow walk along Rothschild Avenue in Tel-Aviv, where the first tent city that initiated the current mass protest movement in Israel, was established seven weeks ago. The walk, at a pace of approximately one meter per minute, will take the whole day to complete. It is held as a tribute to the social protest, recognizing that such struggles for change are long-term and require patience, determination and commitment. It is a symbolic act of commitment to the future. I invite anyone who wishes, to join me. You can walk 10 minutes, 1 hour or more, it is up to you. If you would like to slow walk with me, please send your name and contact details:
